Give a Cow

With just the income from the sale of the milk from a single cow a family can be fed daily.

In receiving a cow, families can immediately provide daily milk for their families and earn daily milk sales of 60-80 Rupees (Approximately $2.00 per day). Some examples of the cost for food in India are: 50 kg rice – 400 rupees (a family for 2 months), loaf of bread – 10 rupees, ½ kg wheat flour – 6 rupees, 12 eggs – 21 rupees. In the case of the Kondamma family their cow allows them to feed eight family members each day. Mr. Kondamma is ill and unable to work; they have two children and other family members who depend on the income that is provided by their cow.

We can provide a cow for a family in South India for just $500. This is a program that also keeps on giving. The first female calf is donated back to the program and given on to another poor family. The need for cows is great and the waiting list is endless for families who are in dire need of more than just a handout.

Your donation of a cow has immediate and far reaching impact on the Kingdom. We are His Hands and feet and in this case their “hope” comes with four legs! Please consider joining in God’s work and bless others through your gift of a cow!

According to the local government in Madanapalle, South India, over 75% of the families living in the region are below the poverty line. The poor and marginalized Dalits and Tribal people face a daily struggle to provide the basic necessities of life for their families. We can come alongside families like these as they work to help themselves through the Give-A-Cow job creation program. This program helps to bring dignity and hope to the poorest of the poor in this rural region of South India.
